Easier Passports For Transgender Travel

Good news for our TS fans who love to travel! Beginning Thursday, the State Department announced that a transgender person applying for a US Passport will just need to show a physician’s certification that the applicant has ‘undergone appropriate clinical treatment for gender transition’ to declare a new gender on a passport
The flexible passport regulations for transgender people, has ended an earlier requirement that reassignment surgery precede a passport gender change
