February 20th, 2010 by Babe

Transvestism is one of the many manifestations of cross-gender behavior in the human species.
For many people, the term “transvestite” is synonymous with such larger-than-life characters, an entertaining coterie of mostly gay men and their oversexed female alter egos. Pro Football Great Crying Over Transgender Date

February 18th, 2010 by Babe

Another Crying Game?
Eric Green ’s football days are long behind him. His back to back appearances in the 93-94 Proball was probably the highlight of his career. Seems Eric’s been playing a little ruff lately as he’s been charged with sodomizing a transgendered woman in Scottsdale, Arizona when he was playing for the Arizona Cardinals.

According to the New York Daily News, Angelina Mavilia, Eric’s transgender date after they met in a Scottsdale, Arizona casino in 2009, has filed papers in a Florida federal court recently, and is seeking $10 million in damages. In the documents, Mavilia states:

“Defendant attempted to have vaginal intercourse with Plaintiff but was not able to do so because her surgically-constructed vagina was too tight,” reads the suit.”

If this doesn’t have echoes of the “Crying Game” written all over it, I don’t know what does.

Green’s pro football careen had him playing for several professional teams including the Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals. According to the Huffington post, Green was cut by the Dolphins last September and has not been in the NFL since.

The Role Of Transsexuals And Eunuch In Indian Society

February 13th, 2010 by Babe

The role of transsexuals and eunuchs, like many things in India, can appear contradictory to the outsider, as they are at once spurned and discriminated against, yet in some ways accepted as part of life.

They are common in Bollywood films where they frequently play comic roles and they often appear at weddings or at the homes of newly-born children where they are paid as a defence against bad luck.Often they extract money at such occasions by threatening to strip or resort to violence unless they are given a financial inducement to leave.

The idea of transsexuals or “otherness” has a long history in India and eunuchs are mentioned in the earliest Hindu texts, the Vedas, believed to have been written in the second millennium BC.

Being a transsexual or castrated is seen as curse in traditional Hindu culture, but the idea has historically been more widely tolerated and even venerated in India’s minority Muslim population.

Many eunuchs rose to powerful positions in the Islamic Mughal regime that ruled the subcontinent for hundreds of years after an invasion in 1526.
